I'm interested in building my own website, in part, so that I can
post clues to virtual letterboxes.
Can anyone recommend an affordable Mac friendly web hosting service?

For simple HTML pages, you can use free (!!!) stuff from places like
www.geocities.com
=)
Of course, they do add those annoying little ads to your pages, but
it's a small price to pay for being free. (And it's not like it's YOU
who has to look at the ads, either! It's anyone reading your clue that
has to worry about those. *wink*)
